Rain Gutter Fitting for West Coast Frame Tent

Our Rain Gutter Fittings for West Coast Frame Tents allow multiple tents to be set up side by side of each other.  With the use of a rain gutter, this will prevent water from leaking down between your tents, keeping guests, equipment, and the ground dry. Each steel fitting sits on a single tent leg tube, splitting off at the top and attaching to your side T fittings. 

Recommended: For pairing West Coast Tents together side by side, you should use 1 fitting per 10 feet of piping.

Recommended:  With these fittings extending further down from a normal tent fitting, a shorter tent leg tube is required for proper installation. These are meant to be used with a tent leg tube that is 7" shorter than normal; this means that for 6'8" leg tubes, a 6'1" leg is required for use with the fitting. This fitting is designed to use a 5.5" standard water gutter that you might use with your house. These gutters can be acquired locally at any hardware store.

Installation Note: Lay the water gutter between the two top protrusions, then rest the tent valances within the gutter. This allows the water to flow directly from the tent top to the gutter. Water flow can be controlled by placing shims at the fittings underneath the rain gutter.
